General information only

PDM provides educational and professional-development content intended to support reflection, planning and career ownership.

The Website, Programme, Career Ownership Scorecard, Digital Content and related tools provide general information only. They are not a substitute for advice tailored to your individual circumstances.

You remain responsible for:

  • deciding whether the content is appropriate for you;

  • how you interpret and apply it;

  • any decisions you make about your career, employment or professional development; and

  • seeking independent advice where needed.

PDM aims to keep its content accurate, relevant and useful, but does not guarantee that all information will always be complete, current or suitable for every situation.

Third-party links and services

The Website, Programme Hub and Digital Content may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, tools or services.

PDM does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their:

  • content;

  • availability;

  • accuracy;

  • security;

  • privacy practices;

  • terms; or

  • services.

A link does not necessarily mean that PDM endorses the third party or all of its content.

When you use a third-party service, that provider’s own terms, privacy policy and other rules will apply. You should review those documents before using the service or providing personal information.

PDM may use or refer to third-party tools as part of Programme delivery, but availability, functionality and continued access to those tools may change outside PDM’s control.

Accuracy and availability

PDM takes reasonable care in preparing and maintaining the Website, Programme, Digital Content and related resources.

However:

  • content may occasionally contain errors, omissions or outdated information;

  • links, files, tools or platform features may become unavailable;

  • technical interruptions may occur;

  • third-party services may change without notice; and

  • content may be updated, corrected or withdrawn where reasonably necessary.

PDM does not guarantee that the Website, Programme Hub or Digital Content will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times.

Where PDM becomes aware of a material error or access problem, it will take reasonable steps to correct or resolve it.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

No guaranteed outcomes

PDM provides structured tools, educational content and reflective exercises designed to support career ownership and professional development.

PDM does not guarantee that using the Website, Programme, Career Ownership Scorecard, Digital Content or related tools will result in:

  • a job offer;

  • a promotion;

  • a salary increase;

  • improved performance ratings;

  • successful interviews;

  • career progression;

  • business or financial success; or

  • any other particular personal or professional outcome.

Results depend on many factors outside PDM’s control, including your circumstances, experience, decisions, effort, workplace environment, labour-market conditions and the actions of employers or other third parties.

You remain responsible for evaluating the information provided and deciding how, when and whether to act on it.

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes any obligation PDM has to provide Digital Content or services with reasonable care and skill or any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual property

The Website, Programme and Materials contain intellectual property owned by or licensed to PDM, including learning content, templates, frameworks, tools, diagrams, branding, design elements and other digital materials.

You retain ownership of the original personal information, reflections, responses and content that you add to editable Materials or submit through Programme activities.

PDM retains ownership of the underlying templates, frameworks, teaching content, structure, design and methodology used to create those outputs.

Your permitted use of PDM’s intellectual property is governed by the “Programme licence and permitted use” and “Intellectual property” sections of PDM’s Terms and Conditions.

Unless those Terms or applicable law permit it, you must not copy, distribute, publish, sell, adapt or commercially exploit PDM’s Materials, or use PDM’s name, logos or branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.

Educational and professional-development purposes

The Website, Programme, Career Ownership Scorecard, Digital Content and related resources are provided for general educational and personal-development purposes.

They are not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, psychological, therapeutic, employment-law, recruitment or other regulated professional advice.

PDM does not assess your individual circumstances, make decisions on your behalf or provide advice tailored to your specific employer, role, workplace or personal situation.

The Career Ownership Scorecard and other PDM assessments are reflective development tools. They are not clinical, diagnostic or psychometric assessments and should not be treated as professional evaluations of your mental health, personality, capability or suitability for a particular role.

You remain responsible for evaluating the content, deciding whether it is appropriate for your circumstances and determining whether and how to apply it.

No particular career, employment, promotion, salary, performance or professional outcome is guaranteed.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits any responsibility or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Optional use of artificial intelligence

Some PDM materials may include optional prompts or suggestions that you can choose to use with a third-party artificial-intelligence tool through your own account.

Using an AI tool is optional and is not required to complete the Programme.

PDM does not control third-party AI tools and does not guarantee that their outputs will be accurate, complete, appropriate, original or suitable for your circumstances. AI-generated content may contain errors, outdated information, bias or fabricated information and should be reviewed critically before it is relied upon or used.

You remain responsible for:

  • deciding whether to use an AI tool;

  • reviewing and verifying any output;

  • deciding whether and how to apply that output;

  • complying with your employer’s policies and any applicable laws or professional obligations; and

  • protecting confidential and personal information.

You should not enter into a third-party AI tool:

  • confidential employer, client or commercially sensitive information;

  • personal information about colleagues, clients or other individuals;

  • proprietary documents or materials you are not authorised to share; or

  • information subject to legal, contractual or professional confidentiality obligations.

PDM does not normally receive or have access to information you enter into your own AI account unless you choose to share it with PDM.

Your use of any third-party AI tool is also governed by that provider’s own terms, privacy policy and data-handling practices.

No particular career, workplace or professional outcome is guaranteed from using AI-generated content.

Testimonials, participant experiences and illustrative examples

Testimonials and participant experiences describe the views and experiences of the individuals who provided them.

They are not a guarantee, promise or prediction that another person will achieve the same or similar results.

Individual outcomes may vary depending on personal circumstances, experience, effort, workplace environment, labour-market conditions and other factors outside PDM’s control.

PDM will obtain permission before publishing an identifiable testimonial or personal experience.

PDM may use fictional, composite or simplified scenarios and case studies to illustrate concepts, tools or potential applications of the Programme. These will be identified as illustrative or composite examples and should not be understood as describing one identifiable individual or promising a particular outcome.

Where an example is based partly on real experiences, PDM may change, combine or remove details to protect privacy and support learning.

Changes to this Disclaimer

PDM may update this Disclaimer from time to time to reflect changes in:

  • the Website, Programme, Scorecard, Digital Content or related tools;

  • the way PDM presents educational content or examples;

  • legal or regulatory requirements;

  • Third-Party Service Providers; or

  • PDM’s business activities.

The latest version will be published on the Website with the date of the most recent update.

Where a change is material, PDM will take reasonable steps to bring it to the attention of affected users or customers.

Changes will not reduce any statutory rights that already apply to a purchase made before the updated Disclaimer took effect.
